Meeting Melissa was so fun. She is very easy going. We met on a brisk morning, and she was wearing a stylish faux fur coat. She is confident and free, and talking to her gives you the impression she is excited about life and where it will take her. She is also grounded and comfortable in herself. Having experienced several photoshoots (including boudoir) before, she showed up with plenty of wardrobe options and was ready to go.
We were privileged to photograph Melissa in a beautiful Airbnb in Denver. There were several spaces in the 2000 sq ft apartment. We just followed the light around the space and listened to the space to tell the stories about her. We had no trouble getting laughing images because we were all having such a good time! Melissa moves with such grace and poise, the photographs captured that with ease. Melissa was up for anything, so we tried many different settings and poses, wardrobe options and actions. She collaborated with us and we cheered her on as we clicked our shutters. We showed her some of the art we were making, and we were surprised how long the session had gone by the time we were finally done. The results speak for themselves.
