When I met Maggie, I was pulled into a world of possibility and glamour. She is a force full of energy and excitement. She has a sense of place wherever she is even if it changes weekly. Maggie knows the world is her oyster even when things don’t go to plan. She moves naturally and comfortably. She is fun and personable when making conversation, and she has a look that makes you believe she knows who she is. This girl knows how to live and how to find the stepping stones to love and rock and roll.
We had our session with Maggie at a bricked downtown space. Maggie had done boudoir before, and we spent a lot of time chatting and recreating the rapport we built during her consultation. We chose her wardrobe and sat her in pockets of stunning light while we talked and then when we were ready to shoot, asked her to get comfortable. The images we captured were stunning. We moved through the space taking inspiration from the light, the furniture, and the architecture to tell stories. We highlighted Maggie’s casual, devil may care side; her calm, soft, confident side; and her sensual, seductive side. It felt like water flowing at this session. And what we captured felt like water turned to wine.
