Boudoir albums are one of our most ordered products after an Intimate Lifestyle session. They are compact, discrete, gorgeous, and classy. Class and timelessness is key for us, so we focus our album design on tried-and-true design principles. We use full bleeds (images go all the way to the edge of the page) and a lay flat design that protects image loss in the gutter (the space where pages meet in the binding middle). The result is a stunning keepsake.
One of our clients was getting married and wanted to create something unique and special for her to-be-husband. The two had traveled together, experienced new foods together, fought together, laughed together, and grown together. We were asked to create something that would continue that history of expression in a way that an off-the-shelf gift could not. The kicker was the wedding was in two weeks!
Boudoir Albums: Typical Turnaround
The standard timeframe for any products – including boudoir albums – before you can hold them in your hand, is 6-8 weeks, depending on the product. Time from consultation to session is two weeks on average. We hold the reveal session two to three weeks after the session and it takes two to three weeks for products to be ordered, produced and delivered.
But we’re not beholden to typical! In the situation with our story client, we conducted an Intimate Lifestyle session on a Thursday and delivered an album the following Monday. Five days! And the result was gorgeous.
Boudoir Albums: Quality
Our albums are hand-bound with leather covers. We print on pages 3 millimeters thick. There is a heft and durability to the pages. They are built to last. Each album is delivered in a linen covered keepsake box. We have multiple album options and sizes depending on what you’re looking for and how it will be used (we have smaller sizes that spouses will order so their significant other can travel with the album). Regardless of the size and cover selection, each album is built with the highest attention to quality detail.
Boudoir Albums: Investment
Our largest album investment option is $4000, however, our albums start at $650. You get to select only the images you love to include in the album. And uncompressed digitals that match the size of your album are included with every order (as is the case with all our product orders).
